It was something like ground up fish juice and I forget what all and they put it in a rain barrel with a pond aerator attached and used something else as a way to pump it out and spray it over the lawn after it set a few days. I can't find it on their website either, but it was on TV with Roger Cook and somebody else?

I am doing some designs for fountains and aerators. I want a pond about 1/2 an acre at least. I have read in books it is possible to adopt one which I know nothing about. Can I find anything like this for 200$ at most, Provided electricity is available?

Where can I find a solar powered fish pond aerator. I have no access to any source of power. Gasoline or natural gas is not feasible nor economical (even fractional horsepower would cost a $1000.00 annually plus the maintenance and initial investment).

I was told that I need a bio-filter and aerator for my koi pond, but it seems like if I have a waterfall it will be okay without those. Am I right?

Our pond is 100' long X 30' wide X 8' deep. The installer told us that there would plenty of oxygen to sustain fish in it over the winter even if the top freezes solid. We have 5 large mouth bass, 5 catfish and some minnows for food. Is this true? We really can't afford an aerator right now.

I have 5 small koi fishes (3 & 4 cm. now) staying in my indoor aquarium with filters and aerator. My question is will they be affected much if I transfer them after six months in my currently being upgraded garden pond? The pond is at least a meter deep and 3x5meters wide with waterfall. i have a10' x 10' x 18" pond with a heater and a aerator. I have goldfish. I took the pump out for the winter and just kept the heater and aerator, i went outside yesterday to find the pond is slimy green. what should i do?

My pump has decided to breakdown, is there anything i can get so it gets air into the water for the fish? alls i have in there now is an aquarium aerator. The pond is outside. I use the aerator in the pond as an extra feature. Its raining now so, reading your responses i should be OK for a bit.
