i was playing with one of those little foggers for your water falls and i stuck my finger in the water right above it and felt this weird feeling. is it an electrical current or a vibration?

i was wondering. wouldn't it kill your animal or is it a non chemical fogger? cause if its like those ones at dances then fuck it but if its like the ones in fountains than it wold be okay righT? cuase the fountains ones are just water right? anyways would it be good for crested geckos ive reasd that they seem to break after only a couple days so should i stock up on replacements

i have one of those little misty, foggy, fountain bowl things, (ultrasonic humidifier) and it makes white dusty stuff settle on everything . I woudl assume that this is probably caused by the salt in the water i'm using, does anyone know of any way to stop it from happening without buying stuff to put in it? (home remedies possibly??) otherwise, has anyone had any positive experiences with store bought remedies? i've thought of distilled water, and i'm sure that'd work, but it goes through probably a half gallon per day. (could get expensive) i already run it through a PUR water filter, but apparently its not taking out whatever causes the powder...
