made a fairly large frame out of popsickle sticks and crafts store wood. so i have a shell. just what to cover it with that hols water and not clumpy so i can mold astheticly??? morter? kind?

It's a two pin MR16 bulb that has three colors: green, yellow, and pink. Depending on the angle with which the bulb hits the fountain, the color is one of those three I listed. If you look at the bulb from one angle it looks pink and from another angle it looks green and when the two combine it looks yellow. A lot of the MR16 bulbs have a clear piece of glass covering the bulb, this is like a reflective piece of glass like a mirror. If you stare directly at the bulb straight on, you can see yourself.

When you purchase a fountain drink at a place like McDonalds or Burger King, you get a plastic cover with bubble blisters on top. In the past I've noticed that the bubbles were labeled with "diet", etc. but recently have seen the bubbles without any labels. Do these bubble blisters serve any purpose? Or are they just there to push down on?

I bought it today. It has a homemade cedar frame with the waterfall rock that sits on top the frame with a catch basin that is hidden under the frame. SHe said to fill in the gaps on the sides with rocks but I am thinking maybe it would look better if I bury the frame so you cant see the outer wood and arrange rocks on the top to cover the wood on top. Has anyone done this??

I have purchased the pump already, I am having trouble finding a pot i like, any suggestions? but my biggest question is what to make the fountain itself out of, I was thinking styrofoam covered with cement, I want it to look as real as possible, which type of cement would work best? styrofoam? glue for stryofoam? I am trying to minimize the weight while still making it look like a real chunk of rock with a waterfall running down it. I am also on a limited budget, i want to spend no more than $50 since i already have the pump i dont think that should be a problem

I want to make a large clay pot fountain to use as a "wishing well" at my wedding reception. My idea is to use a baby pool as the base, covered with plastic liner and stones lining the bottom. Then, a wooden cover to disguise the pool would be built around and set on top. I want to stack clay pots to a height of 4-5 feet, and have the water cascade over the pots. Can anyone tell me what materials I need and if I'd need a strong pump to get the water that high? I've already looked for plans for a fountain this large, but all I've found are projects for tabletop fountains or garden ponds. Thanks!

Both the container and stones are covered in scum from the water.

I'm looking for a base/foundation that will stay on all day and covers things good. I heard that Bare Minerals is really good but what do you think? Also about how much does it usually cost and where can I get it?
