sell it for scrap...bronze is extremely hard to clean, and gets stuff like hard water extremely easily..
Check of this site. Has alot of info on bronze. Good luck =)
try lime away, bronze cleaner.......go get water from the machines its only 2o cents a gallon
Why are you trying to clean the bronze? Leave it as it is. When using bronze items in the gardens the idea of it is to let the natural elements do their thing...it gives it a better look when it's natural, not shinny. It's known as patina.
You may want to try a cleaning agent used for copper. Bronze is a copper alloy. So a copper cleaner may work better.

Or try this:

General Purpose Bronze Cleaner: Salt, Vinegar, and Flour. Dissolve 1 teaspoon salt in 1 cup white vinegar. Add enough flour to make a paste. Apply paste to bronze and let sit for 15 minutes to 1 hour. Rinse with clean, warm water, and polish dry

You may want to get a water softener or otherwise the hardwater stains will happen all over again. Although you can add wax over the top of the bronze like how you would wax a car to keep it from getting all stained again.
beauty is beyond hard water stains
