What do you think of Bare Minerals base/fountain? Does it work really good?
I'm looking for a base/foundation that will stay on all day and covers things good. I heard that Bare Minerals is really good but what do you think? Also about how much does it usually cost and where can I get it?

i swear by bare minerals. you get two shades, a bronzer, a radiance, and an eyeshadow the first time you order, plus all the brushes you need. the eyeshadow actually also works for an awesome concealer. i've got tons of freckles, but no one ever believes me when i tell them because i use bareminerals. bonus, they also send you a dvd with instructions on how to apply the makeup for basic coverage all the way to maximum coverage... seriously, try it it's amazing and it doesnt fade during the day.
order it online at www.bareesentuals.com... thats where you get the sweat ass deal. you can make either one payment of like 64, or two payments one of twenty something and one of thirty something.

I love Bare Minerals! I have been a faithful customer for the last 4 years. It does cover great. I have a small red spot on my cheek and it hides it without looking caked on. It looks really natural. The cost is a little more than store bought cosmetics but it is well worth it! 50 dollars or so for the starter kit: It includes 2 foundations, mineral veil, bronzer and the brushes I also got a travel brush and compact with mine. Plus a DVD to tell you how to use it to look your best! You can check the mall closest to you they do have some stores. Hope this helps! Heres the link:
If you want to purchase the Bareminerals starter kit, you can find it at Sephora for approximately $60 USD. The kit contains 2 foundations in your choice of shades, a warm radiance, mineral veil plus 3 brushes amongst other things. The starter kit itself is good value for the money, and the shades are super-blendable; however, i truly believe this is a case of much ado about nothing.
First of all, the product sits on top of the pores and actually makes them more pronounced than sans makeup. I found that i had to buff my skin afterwards with a kleenex in order to blend the product into my pores.
Secondly, mineral foundation is very drying, and this one is no exception. It is really only suitable for very oily-combination skin types. Thirdly, the product does not, nor has it ever been proven, to clear acne and actually improve your skin. Those that report that it does have most likely been used to more oily and heavy foundations. And lastly, the product has received far more hype than is warranted for such a costly foundation.
Given all that, however, the coverage is excellent and longlasting. I found it does really completely conceal the small sunspots and spider veins i have on my cheeks and nose; nevertheless, i found it too drying for even my oily/combination skin.
For $60 bucks though, it is worth giving it a try, and you may find that you're very happy with it.
Good luck, dear.
