it shouldnt do
if the pipes froze the whole lot could freeze some people put a ball on the water and this keeps a hole in the ice.
depends how fast the water runs and how cold it gets
if there is constant running water then it shoudnt freeze, just try putting a peice of ice under a running faucet it will melt!
It depends on the outside temp, if it's only 32 o , it wouldn't but at 0 or below it would, unless the stream of running water was from a firehose!
It all depends on how cold it gets were you live in the winter. I would have to say that the chances of running water in a bird bath freezing are very great. The water in a bird bath is a relatively small amount say compared to the water in a river. Rivers often freeze( note I used the word often not always) over while the currant is continuesly moving the water. So moving water does not equal non freezing water, a small bird bath heater will most likely be needed to prevent it from freezing.
Hi,

You must lag your pipes to stop the water from freezing, if you don't the pipes will freeze and the water will stop flowing.

Try putting some thing like a plastic ball in the bowl over winter, this will keep a hole open so the gases can escape and allow birds to drink.
Depends on where you live ,but most fountains are turned off in the U.K.winters,as the pipes that are built in to the fountains(or baths)are small thus they will freeze quite quickly.
You would need a bigger bore pipe to prevent freezing, with a fast flow.
