You could fill it in with dirt and plant cacti and other native plants.

if you want to keep the pond you should make it smaller, otherwise i would take it out and landscape it better. the pond is way too big for that yard! but it's not that terrible. good luck!

How about planting some of those where the "fountain" is? You shouldn't have any problem finding appropriate plantings :)

I would keep the pond, but get rid of the water fall effect. I think it is too tall and detracts from the front of the house. With lots of water plants and of course fish it would add to the curb appeal and less upkeep. Looks like you will have to put a liner in the pond. This fabric can be bought at the home improvement store. To save money, knock the water fall portion down and fill the bed with colorful flowers, with vines along the edges that will eventually cover the stones. Good luck.

AS MUCH AS I LOVE PONDS THIS ONE IS HARD TO LOVE ,I KNOW YOU OVER ALL HOUSE WOULD LOOK BETTER IF YOU TOOK IT OUT .THE ONLY WAY IT WILL LOOK GOOD WOULD BE TO TAKE OUT THE WATERFALL AND TAKE THE SIDES DOWN TO JUST ABOVE GROUND LEVEL. YOU COULD USE A FOUNTAN INSTEAD OF THE WATERFALL. I WOULD USE LARGER FLATTER ROCKS AROUND THE TOP TO BLEND IN WITH THE GROUND AND USE A LOT OF PLANTS TO BLEND IT ALL IN WITH THE YARD,NOTHING BIG ,LOW GROWING EVERGREENS.

get rid of it,all you need is a maddonna statue lol.Also if you fill it it might be a death trap for little children.
